Adfam is a national charity working to help and better the life for families who are affected by alcohol and drugs. We strive to give anyone affected by a family member's addiction the opportunity to get the benefit from supportive and healthy relationships, feel involved within a loving family and maintain a healthy mental as well as physical wellbeing.
Family relationships as well as their mental health are threatened with destruction due to drugs and alcohol use.
We engage family members and caregivers collective participation support to change this course of direction.
What We Care About
We give families and frontline workers their voice We understand that people who face challenges usually have answers . But it's not only support; this program informs and educates family members over devastating effects and how to take a stand in support of drug and alcohol addiction reduction in homes and workplace. So that both groups can help themselves, their peers, communities and clients, we build skills, confidence, pathways and resources.

The substance use impact on wellbeing and family relationships is both varied and profound. We access our work with close attention and care to what works in the real world. We've designed programs that allows individuals and institutions the opportunity for making informed choices also encourage them to drop bad habits to health and wellness progress. We depend upon the support of friends and associates for guidance and direction.

We are commit to treating families and individuals that suffer the consequences of substance abuse with consideration and honour because we understand that discrimination and disgrace are obstacles to recovery and cause damage. We are going to fight until society accepts drug and alcohol addicts and their families without shaming them.
Who We Work With
Family, friends and caretakers - In order to ensure those affected by another's substance use have a stake in the issue that affect them, we inform and empower them and also amplify their voices.
Frontline Workers - We train workers to have confidence and capability so we can rest assured they will be useful and efficient in their work.
Leaders- Above all, we strive to involve key decision makers at national policy making organ to shape the outcome of desired family concerns to improve their lifestyle.
